I so enjoyed narrating this helpful, informative packed book. Savage writes with such heart, and includes many tips, ideas and suggestions for parents who are either about to become empty nesters or who already are!

She skillfully reminds us that while this new season can feel daunting at first, it can also be one that is more wonderful than we can imagine and encourages us to reach out and grab hold of the new adventures in front of us.

Hear Priscilla’s Story – Now on Audio!

What would it be like to step into the sandals of the biblical character, Priscilla, wife of Aquila? I got to do just that when I had the opportunity to record Priscilla: The Life of an Early Christian written by Biblical scholar Ben Witherington III and published by the awesome team at Tantor Audio!

I think what was especially fun for me as the reader, was that Witherington has written Priscilla as a historical novella! So while it was so interesting to learn about Priscilla’s life, we get to do so by seeing through Priscilla’s eyes as she looks back on her life, now as a woman in her 80s.  At the insistence of Priscilla’s adopted daughter, Julia, and with the pressing urgency to have others learn of her story, Priscilla begins to recount the details of her extraordinary life, as Julia takes down every word!

This imaginative work of historical fiction was such a joy to work on! I’m so happy to celebrate the release of Priscilla: The Life of an Early Christian into the world, across all platforms – in both Audio and Print!

Two Films, Two Festivals!

N.I. and JE SUIS

Hello Texas and and New York! Here we come…

N.I. is a haunting short film that explores artificial intelligence and what it means to be human. It is also part of the 2019 official selection at the USA Film Festival!  N.I. will be screening in the Narrative III Short Films Category this Saturday April 27th at 9:30pm. This gripping film comes from VFX Emmy nominated and award winning director, Sallyanne Massimini, and stars Giorgia Whigham and David Meza, with me rounding out the cast as…THE VOICE. This was such an exciting film to work on! If you’re in Dallas, come check us out! If you’re not, you can catch the film online.

Je Suis explores the myth that women can “have it all” as a woman struggles to balance work and family life. Je Suis is heading to the Blackbird Film Festival as part of the 2019 Official Selection and will screen on Sunday, April 28th in Block K  from 3:00pm – 4:30pm as part of the Dramatic Action Shorts category. If you’re in the Cortland, New York area, please stop by and check us out! Je Suis is written and directed by Faith Strongheart and has enjoyed an incredible festival run. Congrats to our entire cast & crew!

It has been such a joy and honor to work on both of these thought-provoking films. And so exciting to see them making the rounds on the festival circuit. I just wish I could be in both Dallas and New York this weekend…

THREE ELIZABETHS – March 9th & 10th Ruby Theatre @ the Complex!

This weekend, you can find out! Please join us for two exclusive performances of THREE ELIZABETHS, a new play by Tony nominated director/choreographer Tony Tanner.

This unique play shows Elizabeth the First in three different stages of her life, portrayed by three actresses on stage at the same time: Elizabeth the Younger, played by Lonni Silverman; Elizabeth the Queen, played by Susan Hanfield; and Elizabeth the Dowager, played by Jean Gilpin. Ghosts from their past re-emerge and interact with them throughout the production.

Our outstanding cast also includes Elyse Ashton as Mary, Queen of Scots; Damon Kirche as the men in Elizabeth’s life (Seymour, Leicester & Essex); Tad Atkinson as Dickon; Kaye Kittrel as Mary Tudor with Matt Hennerson and Joe Hulser alternating as Henry VIII.

Excited to share that JE SUIS  is part of the 2019 Official Selection at the Blackbird Film Festival in New York City!

Farewell 2018 …what a wonderful year it has been!
