Empty Nest, Full Life – Releases this week on Audio!

Excited to celebrate the audiobook release of Empty Nest, Full Life: Discovering God’s Best for Your Next  written by Jill Savage and published by Christianaudio!

I so enjoyed narrating this helpful, informative packed book. Savage writes with such heart, and includes many tips, ideas and suggestions for parents who are either about to become empty nesters or who already are!

She skillfully reminds us that while this new season can feel daunting at first, it can also be one that is more wonderful than we can imagine and encourages us to reach out and grab hold of the new adventures in front of us.

Be the Light that You Are – releases on Audio!

BeTheLight_Be the Light that You Are: Ten Simple Ways to Transform Your World with Love by Debra Landwehr Engle, published by Dreamscape Media,  is a book that teaches exactly that! Engle offers 10 ways in which we can make simple changes in our thoughts, words and actions that will not only help us to walk in love, but encourage others to do the same.

Be the Light that You Are  was not only a joy to narrate, but the many nuggets of wisdom contained within this audiobook stayed with me long after I finished working on it!  Engle gently encourages us to utilize our higher mind in all areas of our life, thereby teaching us how we can foster self-love, remove self-doubt that may be holding us back and begin to live our lives as we were meant to.

1-2-3 Parenting with Heart – now available on Audio!

parentingheart

I so enjoyed narrating 1-2-3 Parenting with Heart  by Thomas W. Phelan, PhD and Chris Webb, published by Tantor Media. This incredibly helpful and informative book is packed full of great tips and suggestions to help guide parents into creating a calm and godly household while using a proven three-step discipline to lovingly care for their children.

One of my favorite aspects of 1-2-3 Parenting with Heart are the parent / child scenarios used to illustrate the ideas contained within.  One scenario, which still makes me smile, is when a six-year-old boy threatens to run away from home, packing a bag and walking out the front door. Five minutes later, this frustrated little boy returns to tell his parents that he can’t run away after all…because he’s not allowed to cross the street! A parenting win.
