In honor of UNESCO’s World Book World Day (World Book Night in the UK) I wanted to give a big shout out to Siddhartha: An Indian Tale created by Quinn Blackwell Media Ltd. I had the pleasure of recording this book, along with Sean Allen Pratt.
This App is like no other – Siddhartha is the first title to be created on tap · books – an exciting new ebook and audiobook app platform designed to make reading books easier and more immersive. With an ambient soundtrack by Kate Hopkins from Wounded Buffalo, whose award winning sound design can be heard on the latest BBC nature series Blue Planet and Planet Earth. This interactive new version of Siddhartha is now available for download! Check it out here.
To give you a little more info about World Book Night …. read on!
World Book Night is a national celebration of reading and books which takes place on 23 April every year. Books are given out across the UK with a focus on reaching those who don’t regularly read, and are gifted through organizations including prisons, libraries, colleges, hospitals, care homes and homeless shelters, as well as by passionate individuals who give out their own books within their communities.
World Book Night is run by The Reading Agency, a national charity that inspires people to become confident and enthusiastic readers.
