Susan Hanfield is a classically trained actor and audiobook narrator. She comes from a strong theatre background and loves to bring deep characterizations to all of her work.

In film news – Je Suis– a powerfully relevant film in which Susan plays Charlie, a busy CEO of an ad agency, won Best Short Film at the Miami Film Festival! Je Suis is currently on the festival circuit, screening around the globe at festivals in Greece, Italy, Calcutta, Canada, and all across the US.  In other news, 96 Souls – a feature in which Susan plays the university shelter processor, acquired distribution and enjoyed a nationwide theatrical release across the US. 96 Souls is now available for streaming and as a download on iTunes and AmazonPrime.

As an audiobook narrator, Susan is honored to be a three-time Audie Award Finalist and a Voice Arts Awards Nominee. Most recently, Susan was nominated  for an Audie Award in 2017 in the Young Adult Category for THE GAME OF LOVE AND DEATH written by Martha Brockenbrough and published by Scholastic Audio! Susan’s audiobook titles span many genres – including Young Adult, Historical Fiction, Faith-based Inspirational, Fantasy, Paranormal Romance, Science Fiction, Classics and Nonfiction.

On stage, Susan is currently in rehearsals for new play Three Elizabeths, written & directed by Tony Award nominated director and choreographer, Tony Tanner. Susan will be playing Queen Elizabeth I. Stay tuned for production details early 2019!
